Follow-up on Air Cars
By Mark L. Casey | July 1, 2008
I have found that I am not the only one interested in cars that run on compressed air. In my first entry on the subject of air cars I linked to an interesting video that profiles two inventors who have developed engines that run on compressed air. One of the inventors is French engineer Guy Negro. His company is Motor Development International (MDI).
MDI’s website has a terrific historical look at engines that run on compressed air. It is amazing how long the concept and the reality of air-powered engines has been around. I encourage you to go to MDI’s site and navigate to the history section.
This has the look and feel of a concept that is viable. What am I missing?
